| What do I need to begin? | Below are a few things you need to consider before using the Turing platform. | |
| Step 1 | Identify a project you wish to work on based on a business need | |

| "I want to cost optimize my existing product, while testing alternative ingredients" | ||

| Step 2 | Identify your source of data. **Not to worry if you do not have a data source, we have a solution (Luna AI Claims Agent) | |
| Do you have existing experiments from prior work ? If yes- great! | ||
| Do you have an existing formulation such as a benchmark recipe (typically your in market formulation) | ||
| Do you have a list of ingredients you wish to use existing and or test? | ||
| Have you characterized the benchmark and the competitive set? | ||
| Do you have your sensory goals identified? | ||
| Example if I was working on a pasta sauce: "Herb flavor", "Tomato Color", "Tomato Flavor", "Tomato Texture", "Taste Acidic", "Taste Sweetness", "Taste Saltiness", "Taste Texture" | ||
| Step 3 | What are the analytical measurements you wish to include with your project? | |
| Examples: viscosity, acidity, pH, Saltiness ... Note analytical measurements can not be omitted in your project once included. | ||
| Step 4 | If you wish to cost optimize, please bring the costs of your ingredients. | |
| Please make certain all of your ingredients are standardized to the same cost units: $/Lb, E/Kg etc.. | ||
| Step 5 | Please make certain you have your nutritional information for fat, sugar, sodium if you wish to include | |
| Step 6 | Once you have all of your information ready... You are ready to build your project (AI model) | |
